Radiator Drain

Thought I'd drain and re-fill my rad today. How do you go about doing this?

It's preferable to remove the underbody tray first then set a container inther the passenger side of the radiator where the drain "spigot" is. Just unscrew and let the coolant flow.

Best to leave the cap on until it's flowing. Removing the cap will increase the flow.

After filling run the engine with the cap off and add coolant until it takes no more. Don't forget about the overflow tank.

I've also found it helps to elevate the front end about 8". For some reason it seams to aid the removal of air from the cooling system faster.
