Significant Technical Input
Basically you have two choices - OE struts from Subaru, available around $100 each, or a set of four Konis, around $660.

Front WRX/Outback sport struts will fit fine back there. We actually have 'em on our race car now. You just need to come up with a 1/4 inch spacer to fit in the top portion (where you thread on the nut as it doesn't have threads the whole ways down since it is made for a front strut mount). You can pick up a set of the springs for about $100 a set since nobody seems to want them.

You will have to either bend out the bottom or grind down the hub to make the bottom mount fit as it is about an 1/8th of an inch too narrow to fit the SVX hub.
