There have been RWD mods by a few performance enthusiasts, but the missing steering column covers have me wondering if there's some "history" that they haven't disclosed?

It doesn't look like a "performance enthusiast" ever owned that car. He probably just meant to put front wheel drive.

its kinda amazing how neglected these cars are. seeing them is such average condition is sad...

i wished we had one in that conditon in AU, i want a cheap parts car :P

Plus... a claret w/no black, the engine covered in bondo dust and missing the LH kick panel where the diag connectors are...

How can you tell it is FWD and not AWD? I'm not as svx savy as you folks are. Also, I didn't think that was bondo dust....it just looks like years of road crap to me.

Because it is the entry level SVX that was made in 94 and 95. It could be all wheel but I doubt it since they have the mindset that it is a single axle driven car. Anyway usually awd is a selling point and since they are not selling the AWD I doubt it is
