Tranny Selector Lights pt. 2

Just ordered some lights from Subaru parts.com for the instrument panel through the local subaru dealership and the lights were some big wedge bulbs that are not even close to what I need......This is after I showed the parts manager the bulb with the little black plastic finger screw attached.

Does anyone know the correct p/n for these bulbs (P,R,N,D...etc.) because it is not on the website that I could find. There are small ones for the switches, but not the panel.

Or

Does anyone have about 5 good ones they would like to sell to me?

Thanks in advance!

That's because Subaru's parts catalogue really sucks sometimes. The instrument bulbs for the SVX are not labeled in the catalogue......it doesn't show you where they go, or what they are for. It gives you 3 part numbers and tells you how many of each number you would need to replace every bulb in the panel....not much help is it?

Tell the dealer to order a few of all three bulb numbers.

Could you show us what bulbs you need? If so, maybe I can give you the part number. I don't really know which ones you need.

Lightbulb

Yes, that's exactly what I need!........Wiz has correctly identified it. I need about 5 of them currently. I was thinking about just pulling the filaments to change them, but they are soldered to the plastic base. I figured it's easier to get the whole thing from subaru.......and I don't think it's one of the 3 bulbs on Subaru's website....

If anyone has the part number for this picture, please let me know....if not, I will email the picture to someone at subaru to correctly identify it.

Thanks much!!

Think I found it.......On the subaru parts website.....navigate through to 1992 or 1993 4wd SVX/electrical parts/combination meter........Number 24 on the diagram shows this bulb/socket.
Now the part number is shown to say 85066PA030, but it says bulb only, not bulb/socket, so I'm not sure what the full bulb/socket part number really is. I left a message for subaru to get back to me with some type of answer.

I only ordered a few from Subaru, just to see if I get the correct ones. If they are not the bulb and base, I will definately look you up to see if you still have them. Currently I'm looking at about 1-2 weeks before they are delivered due to the holidays.

Thanks

Bulbs

I have 7 of them and they all work. I don't need any because I have a 5-speed and will cover up the gear selector indicator portion of the dash. Keep me posted.

Okay, finally got the couple bulbs that I ordered from subaruparts.com. Gsodonis, thank you very much for the offer. The part number for these bulbs are 85066PA030 which is socket and bulb together. I should have enough of them now. I will contact you if I need more...thanks again.

I will post a new thread for the bulb part number to be added to the light bulb list on the website.

I removed all but one of these lights from my cluster. I kept the neutral light just because it reminds me that I'm in normal idle/no cruise mode instead of high idle/working cruise mode.
