My 92 odometer says 125K miles, but I may still have the lowest.

why would I say that you ask? OK, maybe you didn't but I'm gonna answer anyway.

My house is 8.57 feet above sea level (licensed surveyor - then checked by me using GPS in classified mode - it followed me home one day, what can I say).

The PO lived on an island enclave in Tampa Bay. The original owner lived in Miami Beach. I was told the car has never been out of Florida.

So, unless we have some Death Valley owners I think I have the most "lowest" miles

Thumbs up

My '92 teal is just getting to 293,000 and running strong. Burns no oil and oil is not dark at 2000 miles since change. These are incredible engines . Previous owner (only other owner since new) used only synthetic oil in it, and drove it close to 3000 mi. a month the whole time he owned it.

I can't imagine changing oil nearly once a month, but guess it was always fresh, unoxidized oil!! A rough, erratic idle was fixed with new temp sensor and two O2 sensors. Smooth as silk now, hot or cold!

All those owners out there with highmileage SVX's... Let me just say that you are an inspiration to all of us... With some of your cars approaching 300,000 miles it reminds me that my car is no where near getting old... I used to think that 100,000 miles is the ending point and that a car wouldn't work all that great after that... Some of your posts show that this car and this Engine are just great and should be considered as one of the best engines ever made...

that's OK, the lottery people tell me the same thing every week. I'm pretty used to it now.

I don't think I've ever purchaced a car with less than 100,000 miles on it, with the exception of my M3, but it had it's own share of problems at that point 1 motorcycle did have all of 3000 miles though!

We had a 97 SVX in the shop the other day. It had 27,000 miles. I've also seen a 92 recently that had 87,000 miles.
