OoooOOOoooo... Look at the pretty pictures.

Just thought I'd share. I wouldn't call myself a great photographer, but when you have such a beautiful subject...

Where the spaceships land

Old mine building. (Very dark on some displays.)

Sunset

Old cabin in a meadow hidden in the hills

Sky Blue - Laguna Blue ( & Black )

Stream on forest road 39

More photos.

Your wheels are on the wrong sides, but the pictures are great.

Yeah, it would have been nice if she was clean, but the dirt does lend a sense of authenticity to each scene. There are not a lot of places to wash a car out in the sticks, so that's just the way it was. I put a little over 300 miles on her in one day, almost all of which was on unpaved roads. ...which reminds me; I reeeally need to change my air filter.

No, it's not lowered, but it had about a hundred pounds of tools in the trunk. In the last photo by the stream in the meadow, for some reason (to me anyway) the SVX really looks like a space pod - or at least it looks nothing like a car. The wheels are on exactly the sides I want them on. :P

It's funny how I was never a shutterbug until I got an SVX.

Also, let me leave an open invitation for anyone to post their own pictures featuring an SVX which have an artistically flattering nature. (I need ideas.)

But, it was my understanding that the wheels were designed as directional to aid in cooling the brakes, which won't work if the left is on the right & vice versa.

Nice berger. I like how the SVX seems to take on the color of the water. I like the first one best, but the last one looks like it came out of a sales flyer.

They certainly do appear to look that way, but functionally I think they're probably pretty useless. I'm not aware of any car that uses wheel design to cool the brakes. (Which doesn't mean they don't exist.) Some race cars use scoops, but that's all I've ever seen. If the SVX spokes were intended to move air, then I've got them on the right way, as the shape of the airfoil of each spoke would function best rotating the direction I have them mounted. Even then, the airfoil shape is a very poor profile for moving air and probably not very effective. Moreover, the more air the wheels move, the greater the drag. I would think fuel economy might factor in more heavily than keeping the brakes cool in the minds of the designers.

I've seen several pictures (attached) of prototype SVXs being tested with the wheels on backwards. Personally, I like them that way, and that's the most important reason I can come up with.

The only way to keep them CLEAN is to not DRIVE them!!
My interpetation was that it was a hard DRIVE to get there!

Show me one from the top of Pikes Peak!! Dirt and all!!

(Driven by WHO'S INSIDE would be a better add!!)

I like the last one best. That's just a sweet angle of the car and it clashes with the background without being tacky.

I'd go take pics of mine if I weren't a lazy bum.
