Who has the lowest mileage SVX?

Here is a page of 1992 US low mileage (less than 100K). Is this what you want? Do you want the same thing but with other countries, or how do you want it broken down? This will have the most low mileage cars because of the number produced in 92. I have not gone through to see if they are all members here, nor did I know if their mileage has gone up. Look at it and we can go from there.

There are lots of SVX under 100K, and those are only the ones you know of.

As for the refresh date that you and Joe spoke of in the thread, you might want to include a column of date last updated on your spreadsheet, otherwise, on a list that long, how could you keep track?

Again, that's alot of cars under 100K, for THIS thread, what do you guys think, list the top five for each year, bold the top as Joe suggested, have a renewal date to remain on the list as was suggested? That would be cool and allow many to participate

Actually, after reviewing the two docs you attached, I think you nailed it. Forget what I last wrote.

We don't really have a definition for low-mileage, but seeing that you set the cutoff at 50,000 miles, I think you nailed it. HOW about a list on this thread, by year, of every SVX with 50K miles, or less?

I like the way you set the sub 50K mleage in green, in contrast.

Well, I did the next best thing. I went with less than 75,000 miles. Take a look, this is what I have come up with so far.

Would anyone agree that the SVX World Network should have a definition for "low mileage SVX?"

More than a few have indicated that a 20K mile 92 is different than a 20K 97. I agree with this, so, I have a couple of solutions.

In addition to a sliding factor per year, we should consider adding a small number of miles per year to the numbers, say 2500 miles per year in consideration of a definition for "LOW MILEAGE SXV". 2500 miles is the mileage allowed for all Show or Display import vehicles, very representative of low mileage accrual.

How about this for a place to start (convert KM to Miles as appropriate) in the year 2010, as a definition of "low mileage SVX', then let's add 2500 miles per year for maintenance, Show, fun, etc., for each year thereafter, every January 1?

Year 2010: [2011-1997-65,000 miles]

1997- 62,500 miles- 11 cars
1996- 65,000 miles- 5 cars
1995- 67,500 miles- 3 cars
1994- 70,000 miles- 6 cars
1993- 72,500 miles- 5 cars
1992- 75,000 miles- 14 cars

There are 44 LOW MILEAGE SVX owned by members
Per your doc, the lowest mileage SVX has 15,000 miles

This would be my definition of "low mileage SVX" .

Our SVX WORLD NETWORK should have some kind of definition, fair by year, fair over the coming years, so when someone says "low mileage SVX", we have a definition for that .

I like your scale, it means I have one of the lowest mileage svxs, even though I'm 60k more than the actual lowest. Btw, you need to move me down on that list, I'm at ~70500 now.

On the NeedForSpeed sliding scale, there are 56 "LOW MILEAGE SVX" .

If the world agrees, we can call it the SVX WORLD NETWORK definition.

I like the spread. Based on production numbers, there should be more LOW MILEAGE 92 models than 97s, due to the huge production numbers

Thanks for the above. It is very clear and shows some interesting information.

One oddity I see is Ewie's car. He has a '92 production number that is out of kilter with the rest of the sequence or else with the dates of manufacture. Mistake somewhere?

Another one is my '95 should not be in the low miles list. It is UK and has 92K miles. Did you take it to be kilometres and convert, or something?

I will make some time and work at verifying and tidying the information on the main core registration list, as the data on that list feeds the Lowest Mileage or any other sub-set lists.

These two should obviously be in the Low Mileage group. Have you registered these and forwarded full details to the registry? I'm expecting that you have.

If not, please do so. That is the criterion for getting on this or any other list. That you have forwarded full detailed information.

At this point I think it worthwhile to point out that the natural regeneration for the 2010 Lowest Mileage" list is January 2010, or sometime shortly after. We ask listed "Lowest Mileage" people to confirm updated mileage in January. After receipt of the new mileage figures we then revamp the list based on 2010 January miles. That then becomes the current Lowest Miles list for that year.

As people register previously unknown cars later during the year if we notice they are below the low miles barrier we will revisit and update the list. There is a good bit of work in updating the Registry and any sub-sets, so please bear with us if your data seems to qualify you for a list and you are not on it. We appreciate a reminder once you have sent us full data.

Populating the Registry is the highest priority. Updating any lists comes after that.

I would remove that 15,000 mile car from the Lowest Miles list because it does not qualify for the set criteria.

It belongs to member fzel07wrx, we know it exists, we have seen umpteen photos of the odometer, very nice car indeed, but the owner has not so far registered it and/or supplied the production number.

Earl, you should remove that one from the list, we don't have the required details.
