Back in wonderful WV
As much fun as we had @ Reading 4, it's always a nice feeling to be home. The ride back was perfect, couldn't ask for a better day for a 5 hour drive through the mountains.
It was the perfect ending for one the bests weekends I've had in quite sometime. I'm always amazed at the "family" setting that you find at our meets. The cars are just one of the highlights of these get togethers. Seeing people I haven't seen in a very long time as well as meeting new people make 'em unique. Well, thanks everyone for a great time. (and thanks to the special entertainment in RM 231 ) I can't wait to do it again! For the time being though, I think some sleep is in order! Thanks again. John & Joe (aka Airforce) P.S. I'll be posting some of my pics of the meet later tonight, as well as some pics of our special guest that escorted us for about 85 miles and helped us make up some time!! I'll second that emotion John...
Jean and I are ALSO safely back home in West Virginia, after a beautiful 7 hour drive, and a stop by the local store for some food items. Super-Ru ran beautifully, and we again generated many a bent neck by passengers of passing cars....("What is THAT?")
A major tip of the hat to all who participated in the organizing of this year's meet, and to those who just....participated! What a special family we have....too cool! We hope everyone makes it home with transmissions intact, and pictures, and stories to share.... ....speaking of stories, what was this "special entertainment in RM 231" ? I knew by going to bed early, I'd miss out on something... Don and Jean
