Funny thing with ABS

About two days ago my ABS dash light appeared on my way to work. Stoped to fuel up, restart car, light reappears. Get to work, car sits over night, next a.m. my battery was dead. Get jumped off, haven't seen the light since nor have had an issue with battery. I checked brake fluid level and was about 1/4" inch below full mark. Thoughts?

There is a good chance that the ABS relay is stuck. It is under the black cover on the ABS. It is a standard type relay.

Re: Funny thing with ABS

There have been issues with the ABS relay clicking after shutting the car off, causing the battery to be drained. A simple pop of the hood and listening could confirm. If you can hear it clicking, a tap with a hammer or something similar should cause it to stop. A replacement module should fix it.

Edit: Harvey beat me to it as I was typing it out
(pretty quick at your age )

Actually when I popped the hood I did hear the clicking and just hit the box with my fist and it seemed to stop. Good stuff fellas, I will replace module asap. Or maybe just start with the relay. Is part# 26735AA001 what I'm in need of?
