Re: DDM Raptor HID's

I put these in a little bit ago so I thought i'd throw the before and after pics up...

I really like these lights, my only complaint is that they take a few seconds to warm up when you turn them on. After that though, they light up the night like nobody's business

Oh, and they're the 5000k, 55watt

Re: DDM Raptor HID's

In case you guys didnt know, their Raptor kits are now 29.99 each for the 35w, and are lifetime warranty.

I just ordered the 35w H3 3000K fogs, and 55w 9006 8000K lows, came to $82 with shipping, impressive deal on what appears to be reliable, quality kits.

Ill snap some pics of the result once I have them installed.

From my observations, the factory HIDs seem to light up much quicker without obvious delay like the ddm i have too. Anyway, it's a nice upgrade.

Thanks for the pictures. SVX's cut-off line is there but doesn't seem as sharp huh.

Never know the price is drop again. I paid almost 90 bucks for mine shipped but mine is the bi-xenon kit. The low beam is definitely an improve but the high beam is better on the factory imo. My ballast went out in 2 days of usage but it's good they take care of it since it's still under warranty. So far so good no problems yet after 2-3 months.

.

Go to the HID-SIN website and click on the various Kelvin temperatures to see the light color and descriptions HERE

5000K is pure white and the color temperature with the MOST light output (look at the lumen output for each color temperature)

4300K is yellow
6000K is white with a hint of blue. The higher the number goes, the bluer/more purple the color gets.

Daylight photo of 5000K HID low beams and 5000K H-3 foglights.

Re: DDM Raptor HID's

Not too happy with these guys, I ordered 6 days ago, and despite me calling to confirm my address, they neglected to tell me they were OUT of what I ordered and wouldnt have them until late in the week. Cancelled the order, that type of customer service just sucks.
