BK dinner at Reading. Good times!

For those of you not attending the special Reading dinner, I invite you to the BK dinner extravaganza to be held at some random Burger King in PA. In order to get the full "special" dinner experience, we will have all sorts of fun games and contests, including:

1) Run till you barf (run around the building as fast as you can. Last one to lose their lunch WINS!)

2) Onion ring eat-a-thon (sponsored by TUMS)

3) Milkshake Mystery! (If you can guess the secret ingrediant, you WIN!)

4) Pickle Toss (How far can you throw a slimy pickle?)

and finally,

5) Bathroom Bash! (Who can erode the urinal cake the fastest? Last years winner: I.P. Freely)

GRAND PRIZE: one FREE item from the Dollar Menu, AND a paper Burger King Crown! (Approx. Retail Value of Grand Prize: $1 plus tax)

Yes friends, this promises to be a special dinner you are sure to be talking about for years to come. Hurry! Booths can not be reserved and seating is limited. Free refills on all drinks.

Well see, I went ahead and reserved my ticket so if I decide to go to the expensive dinner, I can decide when I get there... I don't know if I'm gonna run into something kinda screwed up on my way there... Who knows anything could happen so I always make a plan and a back up plan... This is my back up plan... I too am planning on eating at the expensive dinner, but not if something like a flat tire or something like that happens... Just planning, that's it... Being prepaired...

Oh sure Chris is conforming to the expensive dinner crowed. I dunno if I do really well at the rally I migh have to spend the big bucks to get into dinner unreserved. (last year they won rotors ) But for now I'm on the BK list and I'm gona win the run till you puke contest.

After 12pm tonight the dinner closes. Unless you are on the list you are out. No expensive portion about it unless you are signed up. Remember I asked about people who were to poor to go at the beginning. Since I didn't hear from anyone it is your loss. As for rotors. This year promises to be bigger and better for everyone but anyways enjoy BK even though your planners will have to pay.

Well that's what happens when you are a planner. You take the bad with the good. You can't force people to eat with you. If you don't meet your quota, that's too bad, but don't try to guilt trip me. I'm going to Reading to have fun, not to be told what to do and how to spend my money.

The dinner WAS fun last year Dave. And these guys do do alot to make the whole event fun for everyone. ( the rally rules).

If it's really a matter of money for you I would be happy to pay both your ways in. (i'm not as poor as I let on ) But I will hold it over your head.

Dave
I dont know, man. I just read the whole thread and i dont see any place that you were "told" to spend your money. I think the main point is, we've gone to a lot of trouble to organize a very nice dinner for the svx group, and, seemingly, some dont care. I think the notion that you cant come up with a few extra bucks is a little crazy. I mean, you DO own an SVX!

As a point of not seing things: It says in the dinner thread that if you don't get your check in by the such and such and date that you would have to pay the full $26 or something price, BUT....it never says that you can't just pay the full price at anytime ans still get in. That and I still don't get the part about the organizers having to pay for it anyway? Just wondering?

I to am willing to pay for one of you to attend the dinner. It would be ashame to travel as far as you and not be able to join everyone for dinner. I will not hold it over you head as Subafreak would. Although I might ask you for a good deal on some parts some day.

Acctualy I just went back and looked and it does say that after the 7th it will cost you $26 dolloer to go to dinner on Sat. Then at the bottom it says anyone not signed up by the 7th will not be able to go to dinner. Maybe I'm reading it wrong, or maybe it was typed wrong.

Anyway if you can still put me on a list that I can just pay when I get there then do it. If I go or not you'll get your money (consider it a tip for good planning)

I got to go to sleep now. Good night zzzzzzzzzzzz
