5 speed swap parts list

I like the kit offered by TomSVX. I now am at the stage of figuring out which parts I need to purchase to complete a swap. I have done much surfing through these forums and seem to have the runaround on which parts seem to hold up the best for a 5-speed swap. Would someone like to share what they see as being ALL the "right" parts to buy for a 5-speed swap?..including which model and year they came out of. My SVX will have stock power for some time, but I would like to get on it with confidence!
