Dash gear indicator lights

I had the "D" for "drive" dashboard indicator light stop working. I am thinking I need to change the bulb. I have previously changed a burned out room light indicator bulb. Is the bulb similar? Once I remove the combination meter is it hard to access the bulb? Any tips? Thanks. Bill Z

Here is a pic of the back of the combination meter with the "P" bulb removed for the picture. As you can see it is a very strange bulb that you have to get from the subaru dealer.

Wow! Great picture Green. Thanks. I was afraid I would have to remove the gauges to access the bulbs, but apparently not. Thanks again. Bill Z
