Oxygen sensor question!

My baby SVX needs changing the Oxygen sensor for two of them, code #32 & #37. And my question is that can I replace the universal O2 sensor or have to replace the generic subaru parts?

The universal will work BUT you have to splice the original connector to the new wires. I'm sure it was worth the discount $. I did this on an Impreza and it was time consumming. Some others have said the "splicing box" has been improved. Maybe you could get a look at it before you buy?
When the O2 is lossened a 1/4 or 1/2 turn (I forget which) spray in PB blaster and then let it sit for awhile both removing or the threads will strip.

PB Blaster is a penetrating lubricant that can be found at any local hardware or autoparts store. It's a must-have for motorists in the "rust belt"
