Re: Is modifing the stock air box bad?

I'm running with a K&N cone filter, but it is in the wheel well so it brings in cool air. Also I always use 94 octane, it's the highest you can get in Canada only at Sunoco....now Petro Canada has taken over but still offers 94. Never have a problem with MAF and get pretty good mileage.

i removed the stock air box and moved the filter outside of the fender and i have had no problems from it. and i got a little bit of power
