Sleeve lock regulator

Inside the drivers door is a small plastic clip that holds the window cable inplace.

I went to my local parts dealer armed with the part number at point 11 in the below diagram, and they didn't have it. They could only get the whole regulator...big dollars

Any ideas on how I get it without mortgaging my children?

Have you tried Subaruparts.com? or any other online dealership? That is the best way to go. Good luck.

If you want tiny detailed parts from a parts dealer you have to give them a JDM VIN, I don't know why. That's exactly what happened to me with that exact part, they had a JDM VIN on hand.

Thanks guys. Most of the US based parts houses aren't interested in sending parts to Australia. Violates some Subaru treaty.

Had an offer via PM so I'll check that out.

Update...

Used the non-superseded part number...once I used the correct one, they ordered it...$10 into store.

Will wait and see when it arrives.
