Tranny fluid leak
My wifes tranny has developed a leak. It as rebuilt about 5k ago by a local shop and has shifted great ever since. I thought it was a power steering leak since the drip was in that area but today I discovered it is coming out from behind the flexplate. It is under warranty so we'll be taking it in for hopefully a free repair. I guess it will be the seal between the torque converter and output shaft? They did put in a new torque converter and I guess they would have put in a new seal.

Better fight for that to be warranty work. If it's red and coming out by the flexplate that means the front differential will have to come off to replace the seal. They should replace that whole tube affair where the tranny input goes thru the differential. When mine was rebuilt the shop insisted on a new tube, claiming just what you are seeing.
