The Racer gets to climb a hill, FINALLY!

Looks like OT has the racer ready to go up the hill this weekend barring a tech session or any unforseen issues. Best of luck to Team OT and keep the shinny side up and Wally out of the drivers seat!

You've made my week OT just getting it to this point, granted it wasn't a hard week to be the top of but still.

OK, FIRST of all, thank you Ben for covering the $200.00 enterance fee!
And the car, for that matter!

The Racer now has new (again) headrest supports that I HOPE the Tech Guys will approve of.
The front tow hook/2" loop is now built and waiting for the emergency yellow paint to dry.
Now installed.
Apparently I have rewired the alternator/ignition system so that it now shuts off when you turn the kill switch.
This leaves the left front tire replacement,
remaking the rear tow hook to a 2" in diameter hole tow hook,
a new camera mount,
another bolt to hold the internal fuse box,
and I am really sure not what next......

OH, Yea, we need someone to watch a 4yo while The Hill Climb is on!

She's definitely a cutie! Looks like I'll be calling in for status, as I've got "adult supervision" duty on the home front this weekend

Translation to non-rocket scientist speak... "my wife doesn't trust me not to blow up the house this weekend so she told me I need to keep an eye on the kids to keep me busy. She also told the kids to act up if I start experimenting with something I shouldn't."

So, details, please!

How fast is really fast?

What did you end up doing with the one front tire?

How was the steering with the steering computer re-installed?

How, exactly, would you like to be killed?

1. Faster than you can go.
2. Tire? Who needs stinking tires when you go that fast.
3. Steering computer, how much does that crap weigh?
4. I'd prefer to be killed in person, with your bare hands.

63.8XX Second in class!

Installed my last good 275/45/16 that matched the other replacement.

Welded a tab on the rollcage out of the way.

A bus load of female horny college gymnasts would be nice!
