Re: Resistor mod ver2.0

How did I know this would turn into an ad of some sort? And then a "debate"?

How can we know if that is really "definitive information. ---" or just some stuff that one of the svx forum members typed out on their key board and hit "enter"?

Keith

Keith,

Your hostility continues unabated, but to no avail. You have omitted a question mark. Even so I will reply to your simplistic query. ---

On the basis of scientific fact and logic.

Those who are willing to Google, read reliable text and comprehend, will realise that I am doing no more describing, what are normal fully documented facts, in the context of how these apply in respect of the SVX.

Read my signature as below.

Re: Resistor mod ver2.0

How about just read what everyone has to say, and use intellect to decipher fact from bs. Debating should be encouraged here, but hostile attacks on individuals are uncalled for.

Do whatever you want to your car. If you are inexperienced or just not that educated, you may very well destroy your SVX . Don't forget who did the damage when that day comes.

Keith.

By way of courtesy, I trust that in future, you will take notice of the valid request!

Trevor, is "By the way of courtesy" the way you respond to oab_au, or the way you want everyone to respond to you?

Keith,

You continually respond in an aggressive manner when I am posting. My only concern is that you confuse issues which are of interest to members. Personally, I regard your criticism as of no moment.

I will continue to correct detrimental wrong information, regardless of the fact that a single member is the main offender. I am aware that the you and the gullible find honest corrections offensive. I am not concerned. I do not post in order to establish a social image. Dislike me as you will. I do not care.

Seriously, go off and argue amongst yourselves elsewhere. Elsewhere being NOT IN MY THREAD.

I haven't been here long and I am already tired of this bickering.

Trevor, that was "very Courteous". Your making a special effort to exclude me from those "gullible" folks is extremely nice and much appreciated.

If anything I said offended you, I am sorry. I apologize.

Cheers!

Re: Resistor mod ver2.0

I just wanted to know why you were changing the resistor, like, your old one was damaged, your trans is having problems keeping the required holding devices still, or for performance reasons. I ask this because there are times at which the dropping resistor won't have much of an effect and there are other times where the effect is very high, like with under 10% throttle.

I was curious as to the final goal of your mod. like "I want it to shift faster" or "I want it to stop slipping on the 3-4 shift"
