Granted, I would not expect you to understand. I am in no way confused. The position of the fusible link and the sequence involved within the external charging circuit is the crucial factor.

Sorry for yesterdays comment. I have spent a lifetime thinking all people are more capable than they actually are. Guess I will never learn.

The alternator on a SVX does not have an " external charging circuit".

I didn't realize that you thought it did. Please disregard my comment. Was simply trying one of my "exercises in futility".

Sarcasm can be the fault of fools.

Any wiring external to the alternator carrying charging current, comprises a charging circuit. The system could hardly operate without such a circuit.
