What are they up to now?
Hi everyone, Well about two weeks ago, unleaded regular was $3.60 a gallon around me. Now I just filled up my wifes car at
$2.77. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Take care, BOBB

Hi Jay, Yah, me too on the premium. My wifes car takes ULR and that is sort of the standard for comparing gas prices. A recent survey I read said most people would be happy with $2.00 a gallon gas. Around SE michigan mid-grade is plus .10 and premium is another .10. Take care, and happy filling, BOBB

holy price volatility, batman! outside of the rogue gas-gouging stations, in denver, we peaked about $3.299 per gallon of 85 octane regular unleaded. now you can find it for just under $3.00 some places in town. for reference, i paid $3.259 for 91 octane premium this morning. i hope to be less than $50 per refill soon.

Not surprising that the price would spike right around Memorial Day. The cheapest regular (87 octane) here was $2.849 as of this morning; premium's $3.04. Overall, the prices have dropped 20-25˘ in the past couple of weeks. Low mark for the summer, I'm guessing.

No matter what the gas price is this summer, I will not be surprised if Exxon posts another record profit.

I thought this was interesting.
After I got the SVX's oil changed,
With a Nippon-Denso filter, I swung over to Shell for that fine "93" octane V gas and noticed the pumps had four slots on the dollar side, plus two for cents. This means you can go to $9999.99 in one shot at the pump. Of course someone would be calling 911 if I got that high. Take care, BOBB
