What do you mean add? He has an SVX engine in a Porsche body. He made them for his car so it will run, he's not selling them.

I am really interested in this. I can get a 79 911 for a pretty good deal, but the block has issues, and it leaks oil. I had definitely thought of stuffing an SVX engine into it, to get smooth, reliable HP that won't have astronomical part prices....but the problem I kept running into was COOLING. How do you intend to cool this thing? Where are you going to put the radiator?

Wow. Dude. You are seriously onto something big here. I have thought of this many times.... like I said... I own an SVX, and I LOVE the engine almsot more than the SVX itself. It's reliable, smooth, sounds great, puts out good power, and at over 190,000 miles it still runs like new. I have a guy I used to work for with a black 911 SC that he'd sell me for under 10 grand... it runs...but the engine needs work, and after looking at his porsche catalogs, I realized that spending $1000 on freaking block studs is just stupid. Everything for that engine was 20-30x more expensive than it needed to be, and the EG33 is readily available, would be about the same size, and would be SMOOTHER AND MORE POWERFUL AND MORE RELIABLE than the original engine. It's a win/win/win situation. The only thing I couldnt' figure out is cooling. What kind of hoses are you going to run to that front radiator, and where are you going to run them through the car?

I'm using -20 and -16 stainless braided line up to the radiator. I will be running the line along the rockers where the factory put the oil cooler lines, and A/C lines.

If I keep getting as much positive feedback like I have been getting, I will definitely make some kits for sale.

IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Freakin' amazing. I love the feeling you get the first time the engine fires! The exhaust note is AMAZING! I still have a few things to do before I call it a complete success, but I am thrilled!
