HELP! Legacy Alarm Trouble.
If anyone can help, its greatly appreciated. I am stuck home and the alarm will not stop going off in my 96 Legacy Wagon. I removed the module and associated wires from the crappy aftermarket alarm, but when i connect the battery the alarm continues to go off. I think the factory alarm is malfunctioning as i have the key in and nothing happens. Is there a cutoff, a fuse I can pull? can i remove the factory sec module? Where is it located?
I need to fix this. I have to be at Toms this afternoon and that is two hours away.

Can you just cut the wire to the siren? Or is it affecting other things??
I don't know, you may want to search around over at http://ultimatesubaru.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=3 for info on the stock Legacy alarm...

it is disabling the ignition, blinking the lights, and honking the horn.

Fixed it using the key in the door trick. If anyone has this prob in the future, just connect the battery and lock and unlock your doors twice using the key.
