pet food recall
So I guess some dog n cat food is being recalled. My local news didn't feel like naming names, but petco linked to info:

oh yeah, had to check that out! I just got back from the pet store and filled the dish when I heard about that
 Turns out it is mostly just wet stuff....if you're a cat person the list consisted mostly of generics and iams, so don't panic too quick like I did. I don't feed my dog anything wet.

Our cat just passed from old age not from bad food. It is sad to lose a pet that has been in the family for over 14 years.

So rat poison in the chinese wheat might be to blame. Seems like a few folks on naisoc have sick pets.
Now they're saying maybe people food is contaminated too. Ugh. I've considered trying to pass cans of fancy feast off as cracker spread at office potlucks, now I feel more justified in suspecting it all comes from the same place.  (sorry to hear about your kitty L3)

I only feed my cat dry cat foot and he thrives on it. Makes him a little crazy, but aren't all cats?

as a kid I had a half coon, half grey tiger that might have lived forever! when he was taken he was about as old as I am now! and he was just as quick and crazy as the young guys, which is unfortunately what got him
