Power Steering line location 1992
I need help locating the correct positions of the power steering lines at the pinion housing. Specifically, the short line that connects on one end to the center of the rack. I have the other end connected to the second hole from the bottom on the pinion housing. I'm not sure if this correct. Can anyone check their car and let me know?
Thanks, Walt Weems |

Re: Power Steering line location 1992
I am not sure I follow which lines you are talking about. I know it would be hard to describe and I am a visual person so picture is worth a thousand words. I have the one I got from Tom still on my garage floor so if it is the short lines that are part of the rack then I can check that, if it is the other two lines that are strapped to it I believe (memory is fuzzy) those get routed up front for the power steering cooler.
Let me know if you need me to check into it further I have a manual at home that may show it or give enough info for you to be able to figure it out. Last edited by sowise; 12-08-2009 at 02:07 PM. |

Re: Power Steering line location 1992
Check SubaruParts.com .... They have parts diagrams for almost everything. I know they have a good pic of those relationships (steering section).. . Register, open, see! [Choose OEM parts, SVX 2/4 WD, YEAR after logging in.]
