The WRX engine would be the cheapest engine to use and if you wanted more torque you could do a block swap and probably still be under the cost of the 2.5 liter engines...especially the STI...if you are worried about lag or torque issues get an uppipe up front and you will spool faster...the performance parts are pretty much endless...I think it would be a good upgrade and you would have a lot of extra room infront of the engine as well...
Take it easy, Micah
single turbo set up will be the only way to go as I told you via email...
take it easy, Micah
you could build custom headers however and do a twin turbo with the extra room you will have in front of the engine....this would be really torquey and have a smoother rev band...
Just thought of the idea...

you can reverse the direction that an engine rotates
they do it in boats with twin engine/twin prop situations all the time

I've never heard of changing the way that an engine rotates... You'd have to swap out the heads for completly diffrent ones...

About this engine swap talk... Who is actually thinking about doing an engine swap??? It is a cool idea but are any of you thinking about doing one anytime soon???
