The meet is indeed on the 16th of Oct. (couldn't tell if you were asking or making a statement)

We'll have some extra stuff going on the 15th and 17th as well for people that may be driving far and staying the night(s).

Since I'm only going to come up the day of the drive. Do we have an official meeting place? I didn't notice.

Excellent question!

Yeah, I'm trying to find the time to put together all the information in one place (the web site) and can cut and paste into a nice new clean thread here too.

But for now, basically everyone can just plan on being in Marysville, WA around 10:00am Saturday 10/16.

A Subaru dealer there is sponsoring us, but they don't have room on their lot for us. There is an adjacent parking lot that we will meet at, not sure the address. But if you just follow directions to the dealership, you will see us in the parking lot right across anyway.......

So here we go:

Roy Robinson Subaru
6616 35th Ave. N.E.
Marysville, WA 98270

Just off I-5 EXIT 199

The dealership has donated some Subaru items for our raffle (bring your $$$ ), including a really cool (pun intended) cooler/warmer that plugs into your cigarette lighter (OEM Subaru too!). They are sorry about the parking situation, but they do welcome us to walk over and check out all the new '05 Subies, and they have an Sti or 2 as well. I'm sure they'll have some coffee going, and there are also several restaurants and espresso stands within walking distance.

We'll start meeting at 9:30am for those that like to talk a long time or go check out the dealership, etc, with 10:30am being the time everyone should arrive by at the latest to be ready for the tour.

Like I said, eventually there will be more info, but hopefully this can get everyone's planning process going.

I always thought those looked like fun, like the time I saw a girl hit the brakes at 90mph in gravel and go into spins...looked like lots of fun

Mustang - sounds fine to me as long as he'll meet the test-drive requirement too!

I really need to get my hands on an SVX because I want to make it to this meet very badly. The local Subaru Dealership in Moscow is selling a '96 LSI... I wonder if they'll loan it out to me for a weekend?...hmmmm...probably not but I'll try anyway...

I'll think of something...

Napa: You do know that Moscow, ID is on the way to Seattle, don't you?... jk. However, it isn't terribly out of the way... All you need to do is take I-80 to Winnemucca, Neveda and then take Highway 95 all the way up to Moscow...

This is just an idea... so feel free to shut me down
I'm just trying to brainstorm some ways on how I can make it to the meet.

Did I mention that I'd pitch in for gas?

I think I figured earlier it would be a 1600 mile trip, so I should be able to complete it in 3000, but I need to get the VW fixed first, I'll see how it all goes...

I think at this point we would be obligated to say "yes" in the spirit of fairness.

I think I'll invite my buddy along with his SI too. This may be the only chance to bring all the extra cars along.
