I will try and get that pic up this weekend. Honestly you cannot miss it though. It is the small vacuum line comming off the back of the passenger's side of the intake manifold

Re: Hydra Nemesis

Yes but you can get some larger hoses that will fit onto the engine's nipple that will stretch out over the t-fitting that should have come with the Hydra. Just buy some new hose and run a small length off the manifold to the T. Then run the line for the unit into the car and run the rest of what you bought back down to the pressure regulator

Re: Hydra Nemesis

Tom did you manage to sort the unit out with the Air con etc. It seems tha the Wolf guys think there are some smarts between the ECU and the Enviro system.

I did not need to, the units came capable of A/C. Basically all it does is bump the idle (this is programable) and turn on the fans. not much more smarts than that though.

Re: Hydra Nemesis

Johnybeas,

What are you using to get the Hydra to interface with your pc? I am striking out here with one PCMCIA card after another.. None work with Vista. I am going to get a USB to serial port adaptor to see if that works now because this is getting ridiculous...

I used a RS232 PCI Express card it's just a regular PCI express serial card. The one I got has separate drivers for vista on the install cd, once you get the adapter installed make sure you follow the instructions on the hydra installation manual to the t. I think I have a bad battery and can't start it. It keeps bleeding volts. The hydra is very picky on how you do things and won't let the car start with anything less than what it needs.

Re: Hydra Nemesis

I got it to start but can't keep it stabilized I had the clutch in and car in neutral, I had to keep pumping the gas to keep the motor running it's almost like it was trying to idle at 0 rpms, also it smelled really rich when it started. Also I noticed that the air temperature seemed really low. it was like -4 when the coolant temp seemed normal at 70. HELP?! I tried callin tom, I can't get a hold of him, do any of you guys who have a hydra have any ideas? I set the throttle positions and did all the set up steps.

Re: Hydra Nemesis

Hmm seems like the firing order is incorrect... perhaps the wiring harness needs a check.

Tom knows better than anyone else. So better get a hold of him.
