Slow seat belt fixed - kinda
When I cut my car off and open the ddor the seat belt does not retract immediatly. Well... I took the advice of another member and I open the door before cutting the engine off. Boom! The seatbelt works every time!

Mine does the same thing. It takes a while to learn that you need to open the door before you turn off the car.

Is there a solenoid that helps unlock the auto belt when you open your door? Mine sticks but VERY rarely and I fix it by pushing the belt lock away from me.
What I'm thinking (and I'm probably wrong) is that whatever this mechanism is is sticky and doesn't get the power it needs when the motor is not running.

Someone else posted a while back that they just release the belt from the track part when they stop and don't mess around with the automatic part.
