Actually, I believe that is the ABS system forcing the tranny to third to prevent wheel slippage. It's a weird feeling testing out the brakes on snow or ice and even after you let off the brakes it still does that pulse one more time.

The only major pulse that I feel when I have to stand on the brakes is coming from my heart!!!

I heard iRotors.com is holding a GB on cross drilled/slotted rotors for unbelievable prices. I will get details from a friend who purchased them and post up details. They look great though!

Randy,

You think your brakes were hot at Caanan Valley. You should have seen Ron & his deer.

I see your point about about the ABS on snow and ice but this is on dry pavement. The wheels are not slipping at all on dry pavement. It has nothing to do with the ABS system in this case. It is from the thin brake rotors as pointed out above by others The brakes work fine until they get hot.

This is my guess but I'm guessing your brakes are so hot that the pads are almost STICKING to the rotor. Or the caliper is heated up so much its working funny. I'd get new rotors/pads see if it goes away.
