Question remove side blink lamp

Hi folks

How can be removed the side blink glass? In the manual (see also attached picture) is just wrote "take out". Garage says on phone only slide out left or right side. To me it looks that it's have also double sided tape on them or I am wrong?

I don't wanna damage something so did somebody from you take them out, for example to change the bulb?

Thanx!

Kusi

Should just be clipped in. If you have double sided tape on it, a previous owner may have broken off one of the retaining lugs.

I have not removed the one on my SVX yet but my old Legacy could by released by sliding my hand in behind the indicator to press in the lug. Will try to look at it in the daylight tomorrow.

Thumbs up I did it

So, the indicator is out. It is only "click" inside. Take out has do be done very, very carefully:

I used a little flat screwdriver and soft cloth. The cloth I hold on the paint and direct to the glass to prevent damage the color. The Then carefully slide the screwdriver under the glass to lift the glass.
The clamp (is this the right english word?) "looks" to the front tyre.

Front or rear?

Nice picture Kusi.

The spring clip or clamp that holds it in, is that towards the front of the car, or to the rear?

Joe

Hi Joe

The clip looks on both sides to the front of the car.

Thanks Kusi

I'll know where to push when I need to change a bulb.
