http://www.ebay.com/itm/290643862201...84.m1555.l2649

Last year, I was in the market for 2. I Googled the part number and found a lot of 50 of them for a really great price - about what 5 from Subaru would cost!

Hi Dave,
I finally got around to installing these (or trying) and they don't seem to fit into the catalytic converter. They fit loosely around the front pipe and are too big to fit into the cat openings. Could these be the wrong ones for what I need?
It's the ones between the separate front pipes and the combiner / converter.
I was basing the number off of this pic (part #8):

Thanks

Re: 44022PA021 Gaskets. Mmmmm Donuts!

Glen, sorry to hear that....they are definitly 44022PA021 gaskets. I used a pair in the same location and have sent out dozens without any issue.

Is your exhaust setup OEM?

Yeah, they have that number right on the package, so I thought it would be a quick and easy job

My exhaust is oem except for the spring joint right after the cat that was welded together by the PO. But that shouldn't affect this I wouldn't think.

I was looking at the cat again and it almost looks like there is a sleeve from the old gasket that maybe needs to come out first. But then I scraped it with a screwdriver and it seems to be steel, and maybe part of the flange. So I'm not sure what to do. Rusty exhaust systems are a pain!

Did they just slide in easily for you, or do they kinda get squished when you tighten the bolts down?
