For a 1992 good luck . Not many worked longer than 4 years after purchase. They are a lot different from the latter units. The 92 had auto lock ( walk away and it locked automatically) and was mounted in the glove box . latter ones are mounted in the trunk.

Even though the 92 had an autolock feature they are all compatible right? I bought one a while back the was out of a 95 and it was DOA. The secuirty button light did not fash, just stayed lit like my old module.

Yes, they are all compatible. Make sure the battery is disconnected when connecting/reconnecting them.

only the very early 92's had the active system(auto lock) They also had to reprogram the remote every time the battery was disconnected.
