Re: Impreza Brighton EG33 Swap on eBay

Wild little beastie indeed. I've been considering turning the Fit into a mid-engined car someday by putting an EG33 behind the front seats. First I need a garage.

After spending the time/money to put the RS hood on, makes me wonder why he left the 93-96 lights and grill on it.

Clearly he was too busy buying and mounting that fart-can to worry about stuff like that...

Hey, that adds at least 20hp and of course that GT rumble.

P.S. That is one ugly car even for Subaru!

Wow. That is one strippy model. Not even a tach... Not that it'd work with the 6-cyl from what I read on this swap.

Sometimes, the hood is all that's left after someone beats you to the wrecking yard.

Sooner or later my '00 2.5RS will get as far as this guy.

I wonder who this is? He used the same radiator as I did in my swap. Must be a Rs25.com guy.

Possibly a lurker. So much of that information is damn near spoonfed in stickys on 25rs.com or NABISCO or otherwise.

After all this time, I only belong to this svx forum and iwsti and my swap is coming along nicely.

of course it can work, you just need the right signal modifier. lmk if you would like to know where to get one, i just have to dig up where we got mine from.

Agreed! The car shows initiative and no small amount of work. Plus the eBay ad is totally honest and up front. What's to knock.

StatGSR, yes I'd like to follow up on that tach adapter.

Probably a pie in the sky, but I'm shooting to keep my a/c with my swap, albeit in a more forward location. It gets hot here in the shrub steppe.
