fog lights

While Im still trying to figure out why my high beams don't work, one of my fog light bulbs has gone out.

Any way, can you get yellow fog lights for the svx?

Re: fog lights

Another thing you can do is get some 3000k HID's to put in. I did it and it looked SWEET, especially if you have lo-beam HID's. Let me see if i can find some pics....

F.Y.I. for the low beams I did the 9005 to 9006 conversion with these:
PIAA 10925 9005 (HB3) Intense White - 9005 60W=120W Xtra Intense White Bulb, Twin Pack

(I was rhinking they are the next best thing to HID's, but I still want HIDs...)

Have fun, Mitch

Re: fog lights

With Silverstars' common notoriety for burning out easily (as mine have in the past, as well), I'd skip on those.

My PIAA H3s in various cars have performed well and never failed.

Re: fog lights

Just be careful, the stock H3's are 55W and those PIAA's are 110W; double the stock output. I'd be afraid of melted wiring if you use the fog lights very often

no problems with the headlights so far, but, still looking for foglights, I'd like yellow, but no one around here carries yellow, so, are these any good?

+1 for PIAA

I had their 55W Extreme White H3 bulbs in my 92 and transferred them to my 96. They were in there for 8 years and never a burnout.

I still have them here, but took them out to put in the 5000K HIDs.

Now my high beams are PIAA SuperExtreme 120W, but they are not on long enough to affect anything

Same here! With lo HID's, the high beams are just for letting folks know your brights aren't on. Just to flash. The Lo HID's are a new world!!!
Make that +2 for PIAA

Re: fog lights

I have had my Hella fogs for about a year now, no problems. I can't remember the exact bulb number...I've been searching around for the box, but can't seem to find it.

But anyway, here's a couple pictures:
