Took car to bodyshop

[92 SVX]

I like the way it looks, but they didnt get it quite right needs to go back in



They refinished the bumper but didnt get it aligned back right. Also got different rims for it.



But the real bad part while it was in there paint booth overnight someone broke in and stole the 7" touchscreen. And for some unknown reason broke the vent area.



Luck for me there is a guy(icingdeath88) That lives reasonable close to me and has a 92 parts car I will be able to get the trim parts.

They robbed your car while it was at the body shop!?
Are you going after the body shop for the loss, damage, and repair?
Seems only fair if it was stolen while in their possession.

Wow nice looking! So the car is inside their paint booth and someone breaks in and steals your stuff................sounds kinda fishy...........sounds like......inside job....disgruntled employee??? That SUCKS! Hope it gets taken car of............................G

The body shop is paying for the parts and new stereo, looks like they are giving me a bit more expensive one then I had. They install as well so that should be fine.

Well the center cap says DUB other then that I dont know. They have some pitting here and there as well as a bit of corrosion but for the price they are great. Only thing I really dislike about them is they are heavy. I think they are almost 10 pounds heavier then stock.

Ya it gets worse, the body shop has camera's all over, but the one inside the paint booth is not..er was not hooked into the system at that time and the person that did it knew where to avoid the cameras in place.

I cant feel too bad though, the body shop lost $12,000 worth of paint guns and what ever equipment was handy. My car seemed like a lucky... er unlucky break for them.

I don't know man I think that grill has got to go. Also did you put black under the headlights? In the picture it makes it look like a gap. Still looks great but those two things have me scratching my head.

Ya I have a 97 grill on the way from 1stsubaru.com.
There is a gap under the headlights that is what the body shop did not get aligned yet.

I think a piece of metal is missing from your front bumper assembly. Only you put one back, your front bumper will be aligned again.

That is the question! I am having a difficult time deciding. The only pic I seen with a pearly with the 97 grill white just looked off, However icingdeath says his looked complete with it white, could be the photo I seen was not pearl white for the grill just plain white I do not know.
