I was there wednesday. I saw that he is in a cellblock with about 1/4 occupancy, everyone is in 'private rooms', and the notes said "P/C" and there was a suicide watch note too.
They wouldn't let me 'visit' though.
Actually, I took 3 new hires out to get ID badges. We had to go to the jail to get them.
While we were all sitting next to the 'mug shot' area, one deputy asked what we 'did to get in here'. ( He knew that we were there for new badges)

Mary sold more of her 'wares' today than she EVER sold on a weekend! When she checked the mail, there was a check from a consignment store that she deals with for MORE!
I had to pull the hinge pins from the door to make room for her HEAD!

Nice pics! I take it the smoke in the Racer pics was from stomping on the brakes? There was one pic where it looks like the front driver's side rim is almost touching the pavement

I mowed more cones today than I have ever hit! It happened in ONE pass! When I saw how bad it was, I ran around the gate so the 'talley' would show "OFF" instead of a gazillion cones!
I did a cone, a double gate and a 'wall'. It was either 8 or 12. Dave said he saw one about 10 feet in the air.
Last run was clean and the fastest for me of the day. OT has the tickets, I think it was 57 and change.
There was a lot of 'smoke' from the inside tires breaking loose on the tight turns under acceleration. Several times, I saw smoke pouring out of the windows while the rev limiter was shutting me down.
It was a FUN day! (and I wore Nick's helmet all 6 trips)

Re: Cumberland MD Harvest Moon and Pumpkin Carve

I just signed up for the 23rd... Kinda surprised that there were only 3 cars (including myself) registered so far. Years past this event has filled up very fast, correct?

Re: Cumberland MD Harvest Moon and Pumpkin Carve

Looks like I should be able to make it on the 23rd as well. I'll probably sign up in another 1-2 weeks.

Bobby. There are a lot of 'season ticket' holders that do not show up on line.
I'm sure there will be over 80 cars both days. Could see 100.

I think I might make it down to this one for once. I don't plan on running the auto-x though.

Re: Cumberland MD Harvest Moon and Pumpkin Carve

Are they going to allow ride-alongs at the end of the event? I thought before that at the end of the day if there was still time that they were doing $1 ride alongs where you could take a passenger. Maybe I am remembering a different auto-x club, but I really thought it was at Cumberland.
