it starts every time now...
i don't know how...i don't know why...but every time i turn the key, my car starts!! i don't have to sit there and crank it for 10 seconds...i don't have to give it gas...it's wonderful! i don't know who to thank! lol i patched up that crack in my manifold...but it still was hard to start....mmmm...i ran a bottle of castrol syntec power system fuel cleaner thru on a quarter tank ...mhm...i prayed to the suby gods?? maybe that was what did it...well, i just wanted to share my joy of not looking like a flamin idiot now when i get out of a movie! ooo...and with that crack patched, my gas mileage is tip top now

Great to hear everything is running smooth now!
Perhaps your ECU did a little bit of rethinking seeing that it was used to running with the cracked manifold. perhaps a few injectors needed the clean. I think I'm going to get a bottle of injector cleaner today.

I run injector cleaner through mine once in a while and I do notice a difference. When I got my newest SVX, I ran several tank fulls with cleaner through it on the way home and it really helped the gas mileage as well as how it ran. I'm glad to hear you got your problem fixed. It is nice to have a car that runs properly.

See, I had always run cleaner through it before, but it had never done anything like this for me. Maybe it was just the Castrol Syntec stuff (which is now like .99 at checkers ). Now that I think about it, it started running better after the Castrol was added...b/c I know that sealing the manifold didn't do anything for me starting wise. Who knows...maybe all the bottles of cleaner before just loosened all the crud up heh...I'm putting way too much thought into this...lol
