A reminder that the 11th Annual West Coast Subaru Show is taking place August 28-30 in Stevenson, WA (right on the WA/OR border).

This is always a top notch community-driven enthusiast event and lots of fun. Subarus of all years and models come out for this from all over the West.

If any one is planning on going post here and maybe we coordinate some convoys to the event, a SVX group camping area, or just get excited for the show!

Yeah I think Mark is a pretty sure definite and sounds like he still wanted to organize some kind of group drive down there via some scenic back roads.

Anyone camping or staying down there more than just Saturday?

Just completed my Pre-Registration.

I will be there just for Saturday. Mark and I are still discussing the idea of meeting up and driving there, but havent finalized anything yet. This will mostly be so we show up at the same time, and are able to park next to each other as a group hopefully. Seeing as I only can go Saturday, I want to arrive at Stevenson around 10:30/ 11 am if possible. This would mean a pretty early meet time if we want to drive over as a group.

Eric and I discussed doing a scenic drive, but as he mentioned this would require an early meet time. We could just meet in Vancouver and drive up the Gorge, which is always a nice drive. For an arrival time in Stevenson at 10:30, we would need to meet in Vancouver at 9:30. Not too early for those coming down from Seattle. The longer drive would take an extra hour. We could arrive a bit later in Stevenson also, if the earlier time is too difficult. Let us know what you think.

Wish I could go, but not going to work this year.

I fractured a finger mountain biking last weekend and to heal it right with the tnedons and all they have my whole left hand/wrist in a cast. Can't drive real well, much less a trip like that, and can't do much of anything like camping, etc, so easier for me to sit at home and veg this weekend.

Vancouver meeting point sounds best, I don't honestly think many are coming from north of you guys anyway besides maybe Fuddman.

Judging starts at noon. I'd like to be there by 10:30am at the latest on Saturday. At this point maybe its just gonna work best if we simply meet at the event. Not sure who is all planning on going, but it looks to be only a few of us so far.

For everyone else, it was okay. Definately more of a show case for the insanely mod'd older subies and the "newer" wrx/ legacy cars. We kinda fall into a limbo somewere. Mark and I got alot of great compliments on how clean our SVXs were looking and their great condition. We had a great spot too
