We can't ban you for that, much as we'd like to.

Kenneth has already pointed out we have a member called Alycone. This brings complications.

Cool Re: Custom Tags

I've seen this in New Zealand -

TI 3VOM

= MOVE IT (in the rear view mirror of the car in front).

I had no trouble. <Google search for Plymouth Turismo>

Go crazy, man... it's your car. Just don't be surprised when people older than you (and there are many) and people who don't derive a lot of culture from the Gran Turismo games (and there are many) start asking why the hell your car has a crappy Plymouth model's name on it.

Re: Custom Tags

Because your specifically typing in Plymouth, just the word Turismo doesn't bring up any of those things... And the wiki page is for the L-body, the word Tursimo is mentioned twice in the whole article. I don't get why you only related it to that one car when you can name 400 other cars that wear a GT badge on them from Ford to Subaru to Pontiac to Toyota, what do you think that stands for? I can undertand saying Pinto or somthing like that but the word was around long before the car was, and its been used to label super cars long before that car was even thought of.

Let me tell you the true story of a local woman who thought it would be hip if she and her husband had a plate on their traveling vehicle that said "on the road again". To her, it was a very cool thing.

To everyone else, "ONDARAG" looked a little like something else.

Turismo may mean one and only one thing to you, but there are plenty of people who will relate it to Chrysler's 1980's way of making an Aries look sporty while being cheap. I'm just giving you a heads-up.

If it makes you happy, then by all means do it. Just get ready for the WTFs that will follow.

Forget it, I'll just get a standard tag and save myself 50 dollars.

Re: Custom Tags

Good thinking.

Some are not too clued in regards possible misinterpretation.

It could all go pear shaped without a little forethought.

Re: Custom Tags

I always wanted a lifted 80's GL wagon with a plate that read SUPAROO. There's someone in CO with a newer Saab 93 with SAABARU, found that one pretty punny indeed.
