Talking Site Changes!

Expect a few site changes here and there. Time to sweep the cobwebs and such. Server move could happen a bit early today so dont freak if the site doesnt respond for an hour. Will try to clean and tidy things up as time and experience allows. And remember!!! Iam a colorblind (nondeveloper) so keep your comments kind. I am open to ideas, color codes and such. Just dont email me with "Oh barf!" <cool?> I will do my best with what I have at the time. If I dont have a color seeing shoulder surfer in the room with me, I guess

Enjoy -- And the speed should be REALLY nice later today!

I saw the colour changes. They are not that great. If you could go back, it might be nicer. They are hard to see. One thing I learnt in the past from web development was never to use a dark background if you can avoid it.

colors...

maybe i'm the outspoken minority (just me! ) with no taste in colors...but i kinda like the darker background. it's a lot less harsh on my eyes...after surfing the web for hours on end being assaulted by page after page of stark white, it's nice to have a more muted page. just my opinion tho

blood, sweat, and beer..... uh I dont drink

It took MUCH longer than I had wanted to move the server today. To make matters worse, it was HOT outside, AND I cut the $h!t outta my finger installing the heavy a… butt server into the rack. Crappy day. So, you all better appreciate it or you’re dead meat. (just kidding) The good news is this:

· We have a bunch more disk space to garbage up
· The pipe (internet feed) is MUCH faster now

The bad news is that there is another step or phase to be addressed in the near future. But the major one is done now.

Enjoy!

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

Thanks Chris. We all appreciate the work you do. Pick any color you want. I have a application developer friend who is colorblind. When he first started, he created a small program for a client. He demo'd it for them. Went though the whole application. Then he asked, "So what do you think?" They replied, "The features are great, but can we change the bright pink background?" He thought the background was a light gray.

Cheers,
Matt

Matt, that's hilarious! One thing to tell your friend: One of the first rules of sales is, NEVER ask "what do you think?" Someone might actually tell you.
