Swiss SVX!

Hello,

I am traveling around in Europe for 3 months, and ran into my first SVX today in Switzerland, Just north of Interlaken while riding around on an ATV doing some sight seeing. I wanted to post pictures of this SVX because it is obviously set up for racing, and was unique. Enjoy!

Re: Swiss SVX!

If you zoom in, the interior looks stripped with only a drivers seat. Can't tell if it has a cage or not.

The more I look at it, the more I realize it is not prepared in any sense. Just stripped out with a bunch of gigantic decals on it.

Wheels are stock

No cage

Some rubber riveted across the front bumper to act as an air dam

probably cut coils off the stock springs w/ stock struts.

Parked outside in someone's driveway unattended and uncovered

Looks like it could compete in some sort of race but prob not be competative unless there is more I am not seeing

Tom

Totally agree. I think someone just has a race car obsession.

Re: Swiss SVX!

Seeing as how the all-trac hoodvent is designed for a functional topmount intercooler setup, and the front is sealed off like that, I doubt it's all that functional.

Re: Swiss SVX!

We could all be learn to be big enough to give people credit for their accomplishments. 99.99999% of us just have a car that we can go somewhere in, on a good day... In my case it happens to be a Subaru SVX. Maybe the person just likes the look. Trust me... it is OK.

Yes, It is ok... No put down necessary. Putting down that car doesn't actually improve anything about any of your individual cars.

I really appreciated the posting of the graphics!

Just my 2cents worth.

The point of my postings were that I was interested in what kind of events it competed in and how well it may have done. I was merely posting observations that it may have been all for show. I am a modifier, I am interested in what others have done, I also understand very well the personal opinions are all that matter about any one persons car.

To be fair though, I believe modifying cars in any which way is illegal in Switzerland. Could be a NASCAR fan that lives on streaming races.
