SVX in a movie

I bought one of my favorite National Lampoon's movie the other day (Loaded Weapon 1) and when I was watching it Tim curry hops in his car and drives off. I had to rewind it and then i noticed that he drives off in an SVX!

Yup, There's been a few threads over the years about TV shows, movies, and video games the SVX is in.

Re: SVX in a movie

I saw a Claret SVX in the movie Fireproof.

Unfortunately, it was part of an accident, as part of the plot, but it was not the big-damage jaws-of-life rescue part of the accident. More just off to the side on the shoulder, I am not sure if they even showed that it was damaged.

The other car was the one damaged and stuck on railroad tracks, and the firefighters rescue the victim before the train hits the wreck.

The SVX in Fireproof wasn't harmed, at least in real life. It belongs to one of the members here, who was on the crew for the movie. You can follow the whole saga in this old thread:

Hahahha. I seen that horrible movie and wanted to make sure others on the network knew it was out there. Kinda neat though and it provoked memories of the ol car Glad it was noticed Sorry about the movie. It had some potential, but acting and directing was terrible in spots. C-

I saw it in a car park when they were making there way to skateboard competion towards the end of the movie. I mite be wrong but it did look like a SVX.
