Pics of this new lip or it never happened!

Sounds like something I'd be interested in, if it actually is what I'm thinking of. My buddy's 03(?) mustang GT has something similar on his front bumper; a dark gray / black lip pointing downward at a 45 degree angle or so, about 1.5" - 2" long, runs from wheel well to wheel well.

Am I right?

When I saw it, that's about what it looked like. Maybe at an angle that's inbetween 45 degrees and horizontal.

Front lips are very functional, on a racing circuit. However in daily driving and road driving it is highly unlikely that one would get their car up to the speeds needed to see a real difference in the corners. Personally I'd LOVE to have a MASSIVE FSB, a good sized RSB and a good looking front lip (combined with a good skidplate) only if I were taking the SVX to VIR on a regular basis. However, since I'm not doing that and only Autocrossing the car on occasion, I'd skip the front lip ($ for $ the improvements are too small unless you are racing your car) and stay with stock aerodynamics.

THIS:

Is downforce! The Chaparral 2J "Sucker Car". The massive fans at the rear create a vacuum under the car, literally sucking it to the pavement. As my daughter is so fond of saying, "that hoovers".

Oh yeah, TTIWOP!!!!! *grins*

That car might have the downforce, but the Salen S7TT is the only car in the world that has enough downforce to do the upsidedown driving in MIB (the first one) sadly you would have to go 215mph to do it...
