I did not know that. My next SVX is definitley going to be a right hand drive model. Driving around in the SVX turns heads. Imagine how many heads will turn when they see me driving from the "Wrong" side of the car

Well, you have to consider moving to Canada then, eh? It seems once the cars are beyond a certain age there are few restrictions to private imports in Canada. In the USA, and I know states differ a little, you need to be prepared for a long slog, pay serious money to some specialist company to "federalise" the car for use on American roads and offer your wife or firstborn as collateral. You guys get cars cheap over there when new, but for second hand imports, you are screwed, big-time. [I notice the same in Australia and even here in Ireland there is a heavy tax penalty for importing privately. This is caused by the governments colluding with "the motor industry" to deter or repel imports which they see as damaging the markets and their profits] Joe
