they'er chrome, kinda a PITA to paint, plus it doesn't have a slot key it's one of those circle ones. but i have thought about it, i just think it might turn out wierd. i just figured it wasn't worth it, nobody had ever really noticed them (or mentioned them anyway) untill i posted pics that is. |

I have those same locks on my 240z. I moved the engine back 2.5" so I had to remove the stock hood latch mount. I put the lock in the center of the rear edge of the hood (by the cowl) and in the rear hatch where the stock button was. It is an all black car w/ everything shaved so the chrome looks OK on it.
You can sand the chrome off w/ scotch brite wheels and then paint them if you feel the need.
