Oh deer....
Last night on the way home from the "Move Tom Meet" I hit a deer in my SVX. It was already dead in the middle of the highway, it was late, the roads were empty and I was cruising about 85. I was going to try to avoid it, but the roads were damp and I decided to take the smoothest line and straddle it.
I kept checking for clouds of smoke from leaking fluids and monitored the gauges for the rest of the 50 minutes home. Got home about 2:30 came in and went to bed. I just went out to check and other than some hair stuck to the engine cross member and some hair on the rear bumper and trunk from the cloud of deer parts I kicked up, you would never know  Lucky day for me... Unlucky day for the deer...

good thing you have those mini-deer out east. i came close to taking out an elk recently. or should i say the elk would have taken out my svx?
