SVX rocker cover gasket questions????

i ordered replacement rocker gaskets and they were all correct except for 1.
heres an drawing of the gaskets the orignal ( which is A ) and the new replacement 1 ( B )



now the new 1 shows up as the correct 1 on their books but ofcourse A is what came out of my EG33.
so 1 question is... Did they redesign the seal and part of the block? or is it the new 1 ( B ) for the right hand side? they sending another 1 2mara in case its the 1 for the other side but has been labled incorrectly

There is apparently a huge difference between the two. I guess it is either one of the following:
- The gasket is for another subie
- Or the gasket is for the opposite side of the engine (I think that's it)

Recheck with the dealership again.

well guess what.... subaru sent the same part out and thats on the same correct part number as what they found on the computer
can some 1 give me correct part number for it? so maybe that can help me out. car is dead in drive way. and subaru nz is the only plkace i can get that svx part from. tryed aftermarket things and they got no listings

I'm not sure which is which, but hopefully this list helps.

When I got my gasket set, it came with a list of all the parts that it contained.

Oh I thought there was a special source or something where you can see the different parts of the SVX with their labelings
