Subaru Stock Disk-Changer Question

what could be wrong?

if I insert some cd's into the disc-changer, no CD is going to be loaded.
It views the Error Code "I E I"! (Error code says that the disc is dirty, but it isn't)
what can I do to solve that problem?

Had the same trouble with mine. Turned out to be condensation on the lense.

If so, leave it all open with CD holder out on a nice sunny day for a few hours. A CD lense cleaner may also help

hmmm...

well, I bought a CD-Lense-Cleaner today but it doesn't work anyway.
I opened the cover to look what's going on.
It is loading the cd, then cd is turning and turning but no sound!!!
I hope it's really condensation on the lense. I will leave it all open with the CD-holder out on weekend (there is no time before).
I hope that will work!

Any other idea what can be wrong?
Defect lense? --> so I have to change the audio-system
no, no I want to keep my car stock

Well, guys, if you'd like to send me a stock CD changer (they weren't available in the US), I'd be glad to do some Research and Development.

Had to dry it out well before using the cleaner, 3 afternoons on sunny, breezy days. Then the lense cleaner. My air guitar was perfect this afternoon.

well...

...thank you for asking Andy!

I just had the chance to do it one time like you said!
Two days where the weather was pretty good drying out.
One day I had no time and the other I left it all open for about
3 hours at a sunny place.
It still doesn't work, and writes on the display "I E I"
Should I try it with a hair dryer?
What can be wrong otherwise?
I have no idea, except changing the system and that the last thing I want to do
