Ok... So I had a problem just last weekend that sounds very similar. No CEL, and it would just stall at speed during quick altitude changes. It started doing it after I used the CRC MAF cleaner. Put the MAF on another car, with the same results. So last night I soaked the MAF in vinegar, and re soldered all the contacts and resisters. Put it back in this morning, and drove 200miles. The car ran smooth, no hesitation, no stalling, and the MAF voltage seems to stay in spec. Maby you can give it a shot.

I cleaned and then replaced Brian's MAF in hopes of it fixing it... I did not claim the MAF to be bad because I had one to sell him... Only because I figured the same thing... But this problem was also encountered in another person's car... all the symptoms point to the MAF but it just isn't the problem

What is the chance of an O2 sensor going stray, causing the O2 average to go hi and making the car go lean? I think as long as the O2 sensor registers a value, no CEL will be displayed. Have you used a wide band, or select monitor to measure the O2 levels when the stalling happens?

Thats not how 02 sensors work... They throw a CEL when the readings are nill or out of spec. Besides that... It is not consistant which leads me to believe it is an electrical fualt

Brian, Where are you and your car? I could take a look at it if it's close to me and try my MAF on it if that is the suspected problem.

That isn't the suspected problem... It is the same issue Dan94SVX is having... suspect at this point is the ignition switch dropping its current for brief periods of time... The switch I offered to ship to Brian for free
